I have had to learn to do it all! Never had the money to hire someone and never had a man who was handy so I read, go online and hangout watching guys build stuff to learn how. I've taken carpentry classes, welding and horticulture. I'm single and still learning, make lots of mistakes, still trying to measure twice and cut once, and teaching my daughters as I learn. Feeling the need to get stuff how I want it this last time so I can enjoy things for awhile and not drag so much heavy stuff too much longer. Sometimes I wish I had been into gems and money which are lighter then broken concrete, compost and plants! I am always working on fixing up, decorating, repairing or dragging home some new project! The porcupine image is perfect for me, I have earned my quills surviving and protecting myself and my daughters from difficult times and even though I have a tough love but tender heart, these quills of experience come in handy. Low maintenance too! LOL!
