My favorite home improvement project was turning an ugly bedroom dresser and bookshelf into a darling little baker's rack for my kitchen. Some elbow grease for sanding, routing, painting and new drawer pulls made a complete transformation of these two little hodge-podge pieces. Everyone comments on it when they visit and it only cost about $10.00 from start to finish!
