Photo Doctor's profile
I'm known as "The Photo Doctor" My creativity with photographs has been a life long passion. I am always looking for new Ideas to create artisic gifts and home decor with my images. I photograph weddings and events as well as everything else in my personal life. I digitally customize the best photographs I take into treasured keepsakes for my customers. But, I need some ideas on making unique home decor for them to display them. I also create new images from old photos through digital photo restoration. My other passion is painting my home using faux techniques on room decor and room painting. I strive to advance my artistic abilities in learning and mastering the faux painting variations. I am hoping that somewhere down the line I can find a way to combine my photographs with faux painting to create a unique concept. Understand.... I am still in the 101 Faux class and would welcome any FREE advice that you can offer. I have already learned a few new techniques from the BeJane website. My projects so far include a block wall that I turned to stone, An old wooden door that I wood grained using glazes, a closet door that I made look like an old barn door. and my living room that consists of every technique ranging from sponge painting, lime washing, strippling, and rag rolling. ( I did every wall differently to see what I liked the best!! It is still that way 1 year later...can't decide yet!!!) So I would be happy to hear from you and hear some projects others have done or attempted to do and what tools or techniques worked for them. Have A Picture Perfect Day!!!
