"I'm single, was left with a mess of a house and am trying to fix it up. My HUGE living room has stained, stinky carpets (from pets and kids) and I can't afford to re-carpet. Underneath the carpet is a concrete floor. Someone told me you can paint (or stain?) a concrete floor to give it a marble look. I think this may be my cheapest way out.
