Floor Stain
"I had the hardwood floors throughout my home done a year ago. I kept the color of the natural wood on those floors. Very light colored. I am about to do my 3 bedrooms that feed off of the hallway in the natural wood color. I want the bedrooms to be a dark mahogany. Will this look ridiculous? Some have told me I should let the same color run through..."

"I had my wood floors sanded and finished 2 years ago. The guy that did it used a satin finish (the floors are in a high traffic area), I guess he thought it was best since I don't recall him asking me what I wanted. I would prefer that the floors were gleaming. Can I just go over the floors as they are now with a higher gloss finish? ..."
