cane bottom dining chairs
"Has anyone replaced the cane bottom in a dining chair with an upholstered cushion? The cane bottom is one piece held to the chair frame with 2 wood screws. My plan is to cut a wooden base for the seat that will fit within the frame, add foam/batting, then cover foam with fabric to create a new upholstered cushion. Am I on the right track or ..."
