Cleaning nail polish off brick without leaving a light mark

I have pink nail polish spilled on the bricks in front of the fireplace. I would like to remove it. I haven't tried yet because it is next to carpet, and I figured it might leave a light spot on the bricks. The bricks are still in their natural state, I would like to leave them that way. Any sugestions?

Try using SHOUT. Yeah I know its supposed to be for lifting stains off clothes, but I use it to remove paint and just about everything else in my house. I would cover the carpet with something plastic so the paint won't drip down on it. Spray some shout on the nail polish and let it sit for like 2 minutes, then clean it with a sponge or scrape it very gently with something.
