Just an FYI, and I hope this is the right place for this...the Gulf Coast of Louisiana, especially in Lake Charles and Cameron is still needing volunteers for rebuilding after Rita. Unfortunately, this area was devastated but fell into the shadow of Katrina and was overlooked. Habitat for Humanity and the United Way down here are desperate for volunteers that want to come and assist with rebuilding...many don't know it, but a whole Parish was wiped off the face of the map...only one building was left standing. Churches, schools, cemetaries, homes, businesses, all gone. If you want to put your Jane talents to work, and have some time, come on down the the south... I am sure the rebuilding will be going on for a few years. We'll treat you nice and feed you good, and we have free mosquito repellent!!
