Topic: Love the wall color, but the carpet?!
Carpet tiles carrieg writes: Mon, 10/23/2006 - 3:26pm
Rip up the carpet and replace them with carpet tiles! I've always wanted to do this but can't justify ripping out our carpet, which is in good condition and neutral in color. FLOR (www.flor.com) sells carpet tiles that you lay down with no adhesive (and they're made not to slide around). All the tiles interlock so that it looks just like wall-to-wall carpet when it's in. The best part--aside from being super easy--is that you can use different pattern and color carpet tiles to customize your room. My favorite are the gerber daisy carpet tiles! Check it out and see if it could work for you. Good luck!
wow so much you can do. godis1_5 writes: Fri, 12/29/2006 - 2:42pm

Concrete Acid Staining is a great solution. It is very easy to do and turns out amazingly. It can look like polished stone, very high class. ;)
You can get a simple, cost effective product ($1/sq. ft.) from DCsurfaces.com. The website has an online store, lots of info and lots of photos of final products.
That was so much fun.. Heidi writes: Mon, 03/05/2007 - 8:35pm
We put a concrete acid stain on a driveway for one of our shows on MSN. It totally changed the look of the house. If you want to see how we did it, here's the link to the video and article:
