Regrading a yard is, unfortunately, not a quick fix project. You'll need to understand how to build up the former pool area while still letting water channel away from your foundation. One way to start is by watching the yard after a heavy rain. See where puddles are and start by filling in those areas with dirt. Otherwise, this requires a bigger investment of time and money to get it right. I would talk with a local landscaper and just get a sense of what needs to be done. Perhaps you can do it in stages?
