Getting Rid of Mouse.

Does anyone have any tips on getting rid of mouse? We've had the super come in and the exterminator in our apt almost every week for the last 6 months. We have poured cement in the holes we found and just this morning, i went into the soon to be nursery and found more mouse crap in a corner. All suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Sharon

You may want to try setting a couple of traps yourself. Using peanut butter instead of cheese is usually more effective.

I had a mouse once and used one of those "humane" traps...the door shuts after the little guy goes in for the snack. I set it inside a kitchen cabinet with a peanut butter cracker inside and the mouse was trapped in less than 10 minutes....then just carry it outside (a bit away from your residence) and release...be prepared for the ick factor, not as icky as dead mouse in a trap but icky just the same.

Yes, peanut butter works well in those traps, but the real secret is a good mouser cat. We have a 13-year-old cat that sprung to action like a kitten when given this challenge. Can you borrow a friend's cat for a few days -- get the cat to walk around everywhere and leave its scent even if they don't catch the mouse.
