Looking for help

I have a 3 burner gas stove in my camper. It is avocado green. Last year I sanded it down and painted it with epoxy white appliance paint. I put about 4 coats of paint on it and sometimes it dried smooth while other times it looked like cracked glass. When I went to use the stove it all turned a faint brown color inside the bruner area and it flaked off in larger pieces. Yesterday I scrapped all the paint off and re-sanded it back to the green color. What paint out there could I use to paint the cook top of this stove. The surface is smooth but the epoxy appliance paint didn't stick well. Should I go to an automotive paint? I had wanted to paint it white but I guess with all the frustration it has cause me just to make it look nice would be great. I can't keep it green cause it has had too much sanding to be a nice finish now. Thanks for any help you can be.

Go to your local paint store and check out spray paint for high heat applications. We had gotten this type of paint when we painted the wall heater covers in our apartment that was 3 years ago still looks good.

Several people I know have used automotive paint to paint Coleman stoves, which are similar to camper stoves. This might be an alternative. Hope you find a solution -
