So I have a regular size guest bathroom that needs some major redecorating. I thought of an oriental/tropical forest theme to put in the bathroom. I wanted to put bamboo wall coverings onto the wall. However, I wasn't sure how long the bamboo would stay up towards the steam and water and so forth in a bathroom. Will it mold? I saw someone did do the same thing and she sprayed polyurethane over the wall covering. Will this help and for how long? If this is not a good idea, does anyone know what other ideas i can do for the walls like paint color & decor to create this oriental/tropical theme?
