I hope to install a single handle kitchen faucet this weekend. Previously, two copper pipes ran parallel from the cabinet floor directly to the hot/cold handles of the old faucet with its two handles. In preparation, I removed the old faucet and cut back the copper pipes about six inches, below the solder. What kind of materials do I need now to connect the remaining piping to the new faucet? Anything else I should know before starting this project?
