My husband and I just purchased our first home and there are a bunch of little things that I would like to update with little cost. Has anyone out there ever painted over the brass trim of a fireplace screen and door? I am curious as to what type of heat resistant paint I will need and where one might find that. I am see lots of great advice for lights and other things, but has anyone ever done a fireplace???
