wish to remove frame from bathroom mirror

A few years ago I placed a frame using mirror adhesive to my bathroom mirror. I now want to REMOVE the frame and do not know how to do this without breaking the mirror. Does anyone have the answer?

This is a good reason to use silicone. See if you can slide a single edge razor blade between the adhesive and the mirror. If that works, slowly separate the frame from the mirror. If not, find the adhesive that you used and see if there is a recommended solvent for dried adhesive. Good luck, and share the results.
