leaking planter

I have a flower planter connected to my house. When it rains it leaks in one part. I just dug down 4 ft today looking for a hole or the location of the leak. When I find it what would I use to fix it? Is that something I could do myself? leaking into family room from the planter when it rains or is watered (which I try not to over do) Help!!

Sounds like you have a concrete planter box. Concrete is pourous, therefore it leaks. There are a viriety of sealers you can purchase for it. Check at your local home improvement store for ideas and prices. Just make sure you seal it to a min of 6" above ground leavel to prevent more anoying problems. Luck, Gerald
