cheap easy to do bathroom floors

I am a first time homeowner! I'm a single girl and not the handiest one either. I have two small bathrooms in my two bedroom condo. I am looking for some cheap easy to do bathroom flooring....any suggestions? How do I go about doing this?

If you have concrete sub-floors, acid stain is very inexpensive. DCsurfaces.com has a easy-to-apply acid stain overlay kit, 18 acid stain colors to choose from, and illustrated, step-by-step instructions. It will take about 2 days (with drying and curing time) and cost about $1/sq. ft.

You can view photos or e-mail me with questions from www.DCsurfaces.com.

I'm not from 'across the nation' but from across the world. I'm proud to be a 'jane' from Northern Ireland!! Why dont you use lino/vinyl? It is cheap and comes in a variety of colours and patterns, eg; pebbles, tiles, etc. If you wish to save money you can lay it yourself. It is easier if you make a template first, using large sheets of cardboard or lining paper. When you are happy that this fits, you can then lay it over the top of the lino/vinyl and cut out the pattern. This method can also be used on laminate flooring. good luck. Please let me know how you finally cover the floor. Photo it too, cause i'm REALLY noisy! LOL.

Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it! I looked in to vynl peel and stick. They are about 28 cents a piece, so that seems the way to go. They come in 12X12 sheets, so I'm going to use my 12X12 scrapbook pieces of paper to lay it out. Thanks again for the advice!! As soon as I do it I will defenitely take a photo! It's neat to get advice from someone in Northern Ireland!
