Dear Jane, My ceiling fan/light combo is wired as follows: A single light switch controls a single power conductor going to the fan/light. With this configuration, one activates the switch, but must use pull chains to individually control the fan and light. I've replaced the fan control switch but am afraid I've not wired it correctly. The wires are as follows: 1-black from light socket 1-blue from fan 1-red from fan 1-black from fan On the switch the wires are: 1-blue 1-red 1-black I've connected the black from light socket, black from fan, and black on switch. blue to blue red to red However, the light comes on but the fan does not.
