Stainless film on counter tops

You can, however I wouldn't recommend it. It's meant for less heavy-usage areas such as cabinet or applicance facing - not necessarily an area that you use all the time. Since it's a film, it could risk getting cut with a knife or burned with a pan. However, per the manufacturer's own photos, they do show usage on a child's desk - and that does get pretty heavy use. So it's really up to you. May be a temporary fix but not for the long haul.
