round push-button light switch

We own a house built in the 1940s. It has single-button light switches, where the button is about 1.25 inches in diameter. Instead of having two smaller buttons (one above the other), this switch is pushed once to turn the light on, and then pushed again to turn it off.

All the switch plates in our house are clear plastic. However, one of them is broken. I'd like to find a replacement switch plate. We think the switches add "character" to our house.

I've looked online but haven't found anything like our switches (so far).

Any helpful ideas would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!

We have a place by us that has a great deal of antique hardware. Besides if Liz doesn't have it, she may know someone who does.

I am having the same problem :( I've been looking for weeks on line and I could only find the 2 push button. Have you had any luck? I think we are just going to try to have them custom made! Pattie
