convert ceiling fan to regular light fixture
"I removed the ceiling fan and there are 3 wires--white, black, and copper. There is no safety box, just a hole about 1 inch wide with wires coming out. Is that normal? Can I attach the regular ceiling light pendant fixture to the ceiling without using a safety box? Thanks ..."
