My husband is disabled but before he was I was still more handy than him. I do miss doing things like this without him though, it was nice to have a hand with the heavy stuff. Now I have to wait for my son to come over when he has the time from work and family to help and then I have to argue to get him to do it my way. It's nice to have places to read up on things to make sure it's being done right so we don't have to do it again in a few years. Lots of men don't do it that way. It's like their embarrassed to admit they don't know it all.
