The paint on my kitchen ceiling is peeling. There is NO water damage and the humidity isn't any higher in the kitchen than in any other part of the house. I think the previous owner painted the ceiling without priming it first and that's why it's peeling. My concern is if I paint the ceiling it will continue to peel and ruin the new paint job... any ideas? I have scrapped it as it lifts, but it continues to lift in places that I thought were properly scrapped. I don't want to spend a lot of time and money on something that will ultimately peel in the end. ANYTHING?
