SO, I STILL have those end tables. (see post from June 07)They had this inlaid leather on the top, but I took it off...I need to put something in its place. it is very thin....any ideas? thanks

Formica comes in a lot of diferent styles, thickness, and colors even one that looks like diamond plate aluminum. Look around and see if you like anything. Luck, Gerald

I had a small cabinet that was in good shape except the top. I used suede shelf liner paper from the container store. You can get a good sized role for about $6. It gave the cabinet a pretty luxe look. And it removes easily so I can refinish it with something else at a later date if I want to.
