Vacuum Cleaners

OK, so does anyone have any info about vacuum cleaners that work well with kitchen tile as well as carpet? I really like the Bissell 1867-7, but I think it's only for hard-floors. It does get good reviews though (at least at this vacuum cleaner reviews site). If anyone has any other suggestions of vacuums - let me know. Thanks.

I have a Dyson ball and it works great on my hardwood and my carpet. I do not have tile, but it works really well on my hardwood. I hope that helps.

i have a simplicity vacuum that works great on tile and carpet. you can turn the brush off when on the tile or hardwood, the dirt on the floor gets picked up, but it doesn't get kicked around the floor, so it's much more efficient at picking up dirt/crumbs/whatever.
