I read your 9 steps to prepare paneling for paintng, but I became confused when you stated to use a primer paint in step 5, then use spackeling to fill your grooves/defects and then you stated in step 8 to begin to apply a coat of primer. What am I missing? Do you prime before and after spackeling?
