The walls in the property I am renting are plaster and do not have studs. At least I have not found any. My problem is that when I screw into the wall, the hole/plaster gets bigger wider, even with an anchor. I would like to install floating shelves and actually have them stay on the wall. Does anyone have any solutions? PS - The landlord has given me permission to install the shelves.
