After three or four trips to the home improvement store my daughter and I tackled our first project together on her first house. I didn't realize how many tools and suppplies I had collected until I was faced with her empty garage! The list was long but we purchased everything we needed to do a minor remodel of her tiny and very GRAY master bathroom! Why someone would paint a small bathroom three
shades of dirty gray, I have no idea. Maybe to match the mold that we found under the sink? Anyway, we scrubbed, and sanded and primed and then primed again. The project took three days but we had so many laughs along the way it was worth it. My daughter learned about different kinds of paint, how to prep cabinets, replace hardware, what a circuit breaker is and how to wire a new light fixture. Even her hubby got involved to hang new towel rods. She didn't know he knew how to use a drill! Needless to say the bathroom looks MUCH better and my daughter and I have memories to share with the rest of the family. Hopefully, she will be encouraged to do more things to improve her house. She can do it - she's a new "JANE!"
