Faux painting an oval window on my front door.

I wood like to attempt to paint an oval window on my front door. The door is a solid metal with no window but has been previously painted and I am planning on wood graining the area surrounding the possible oval window. I want it to look like the expensive frosted class doors that I can't afford. Any suggestions!!!!
Here are photos of my last project.
just thought I would give you an idea of my skill level.
This is my downstairs entrance way before faux painting.
The next shot is after.
The next shot is my first wood grain idea for the inside of the main door.
The next photo is my final wood graining idea. I also painted the block wall.
The last photo is the exterior side of the main door after wood graining.
Not too bad for my first attempt at faux painting? Everyone has a Photographic memory.....Some are just out of film!
