Can I really be a Jane? I've started and given up on too many projects to mention. I started laying linoleum tile in my kitchen once and encountered gooey hard gunk under the old tile that I couldn't get off. After a few weeks with no kitchen floor, I had to hire professionals. Right now, all my daughter's bedroom furniture has been in our room for weeks because I'm afraid to rip up the rust shag carpet! (PS - I bought the Be Jane book yesterday.)
