So you have an attic, you know that it's instant built-in storage. But how do you get up there? If you're like me, and sorry for that, you have to drag a ladder in the house, up the stairs and open it under the tiny opening in the hallway between the bedroom and bathroom. Too much information? Oh c'mon, you've been there before. Anyway, there are many solutions that are pretty easy to finally get better access to your ladder.
A fold down ladder is the most basic and acutally works quite well. It has a string or you can reach it with a pull stick and open it up, then just either slide down or unfold the ladder down to the ground. Voila, instant access.
But way you're like me and have a TON of heavy boxes to get up there. Well I've actually seen these really cool devises which are basically like attic elevators. Seriously! They operate via a remote control on your wall and they open up and come all the way down to the floor. You then put your stuff to go up to the attic on the lift and raise. Although - I'm not sure if people can ride on it too? I'm thinking no, but does anyone know how else you'd get up there?
