Good question :) Since these items are typically square or rectangular, no pattern is really needed. A good resource for you is Joanne's Fabrics. If one is not located near you, google a fabric craft store and visit them. Some actually give classes where you can do hands on learning.
What I've done in the past is measure the width of the window and allow 2 and 1/2 times the width, more or less for fullness of the window covering. Measure the length and allow for finishing the edges and for the hemnline. For pillows you can buy the forms already made which I like best, and cut the fabric squares to the measurement of the pillow forms. Again allow at least 1/2" inch on all sides for seam allowance. Hope this helps a bit.
Looking for a dining room table deblynn731 writes: Thu, 01/11/2007 - 12:17am
I am looking for a dining room table similar to the one in the intro to the BeJane video "From Blank to Beautiful". It has a glass top and a plaster looking base. I have looked everywhere.

DONT KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE BUT REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THRIFT STORES ON A DAILY BASIS. WE HAVE UNITED WAY, SALVATION ARMY, AND CHURCH THRIFT STORES THAT USE THE MONEY FROM THE SALES TO HELP ABUSED WOMEN AND CHILDREN. HALF MY HOME IS FROM AUCTIONS, AND THRIFT STORES. I HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY ANYTHING I WANT, BUT IT IS A THRILL TO BEAT THE SYSTEM. IT IS AMAZING WHAT SOME PEOPLE GIVE AWAY TO THESE PLACES. grandma Bert
