I have finally gotten my kitchen cabinets painted French Cream......I have wallpapered soffits over the cabinets which are strawberries on a cream white background. The problem is that the strawberries have to go; I have painted over wallpaper before with very good results, but I need something to jazz up the solid color soffits (I plan on painting them same color as cabinets). This is just too much of the same color and I'm afraid will look really blah!! I need ideas of what to do after I paint the soffits - don't really want to hang plates or anything else on them. My appliances are black and I have a collection of roosters. Any ideas?
