I want a murphy bed system like this one in my spare bedroom/office. Would it be better to have a carpenter do parts of this and I just do the matching bookshelves? I can buy plans like at here http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=17213 and then then buy the finished bookcases separately. I just hate to spend $2100-4100 for the finished set and would like to build part of it myself. BE JANE....Help! Need your advice!
