We bought a house with a funky add on room that had a corrugated tin roof over beams. The room was hot in the summer and cold in the winter so we had a drywall ceiling attached underneath with insulation in between the tin and the drywall. Unfortunately, after a few years, the tin roof started to leak and the drywall was damaged. We broke a hole to look inside and the insulation has black mold.
We need to remove the drywall ceiling, the insulation and the black mold. Hopefully the beams do not have dry rot too!
We really need to take care of this before the rainy season starts again.
PS> We cannot afford to have this done professionally
