refinishing furniture

Can anyone help me??? i am new to wood stripping. I bought this really cute oak table at an estate sale, brought it home and thought how nice it would look refinished. I went and bought some wood stripper and painted it on, boy did i paint it on!!! Now I cant remove it. I tried using some mineral spirits to remove it but it isn't coming off. Any suggestions?

i think you best try sanding off any of that stuff (as long as it is rock solid dry.) be sure to wear a mask around that nasty and toxic stripping stuff. use finer grade paper and work the material off gradually.good luck.
