Need a *tiny* bathrooom vanity!

Hi-- I just bought a 1962 rambler-style house, and the master bath is a joke! It's essentially a closet converted to a bathroom. The room itself is literally just about the same depth as a double-wide closet with sliders. I'm not kidding: When you bend over the sink to wash your face, your butt hits the wall behind you! What I'm looking for is a REALLY shallow vanity for this room. The current sink is mounted directly onto the wall, and looks like it came from a gas station. I need to find a vanity and sink that are about the same depth, which is 15", but the most shallow vanities I'm finding @ Home Depot or Lowe's are 19". Does anyone know of a source for impossibly shallow vanities? Help, Janes! Thanks, Anita in Seattle.

You could always make one out of concrete. We fabricate concrete vanities with intregal sinks exactly to the customers specifications. We've made a really amazing designer sink about 1" deep...so 15" would be like a canyon! View some of the past jobs we've done at www.DCsurfaces.com. Our retail store sells all the materials you would need. We can offer step-by-step directions, tips, advice and design ideas. Good luck! www.DCsurfaces.com

What about keeping your sink

What about keeping your sink and skirting it? That way you can add storage underneath it with stackable drawers. Or have you looked at pedistal sinks. We have a fairly small one in our half bath. I'll go measure it and let you know how deep it is. I'll also add pix to my profile page of it (it's depth too) and skirted sinks since for some reason all I'm getting is red Xs here.
