Could use some encouragement

I'm in what they call "transition": middle-aged (soon-to-be-48), divorce soon-to-be-final, solo homeowner for the first time. Prior to this, I shared a home with my husband; before that, I lived in apartments. Bottom line, if there was maintenance that needed to be done, it was either the responsibility of the landlord, my husband took care of it, or I had the money to call in a pro. I inherited a townhouse from my mother. It's in very good condition considering its age (about 15 years), but I'm noticing that some of the baseboards have pulled away from the wall; one of the bathroom faucets needs a new aerator, and one of the toilets has a small drip after flushing. I no longer have the money to call professionals, but have always been as UN-handy with tools as one can be. If there's anyone out there who has been in a similar situation and has advice/encouragement for me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
