My bathtub is brown and I would like to replace it. someone told me there is product available to change the color is that true? Please let me know.

Thank you for your question on repainting your bathtub. You most certainly can repaint your bath tub. Since we don't know if you have a porcelain, acrylic, cast iron, ceramic or steel bath tub we can't give you a specific answer on how to do it. Though we have found a few different companies out there who have kits to repaint any type of bathtub. You should first find the source. It could be as simple as a downspout or gutter than broke. The fix depends on the sverity. There are water-sealing paints, but they only do so much. Exterior curtain drains, interior drains, and sump pumps are all options. If the water is MINOR then try the paints. Prep the wall by cleamning it as well as possible - this will allow the product to do it's job as best as it can! Thompson's is the big name, though there are several brands. Your labor is the biggest cost (time) - so get the best product possible and spend your time equity on the prep! -tapalmer99@aol.com
